The Lang Syne sitting on bottom at what appears to be her final resting place. This 1889 Steel-Hulled Side-Wheeler is thought to have been built in Louisiana. Sometime around 1999 the 70 foot Steamer was found in unrecognizable condition, tied to a post on the Susquehanna River near Perryville, Md. She was brought to a marina in Essex, Md. by the Lehrer family with hopes of bring her back to life. Sadly she now site on bottom, slowly succumbing to the elements.
